I like the sleek, modern design of the Canon Powershot SX110IS 9MP digital camera and immediately fell for it. It has a fine balance between simplicity and style. It design fits will in your palm and provides an easy grip so that you never feel uncomfortable holding the camera for prolonged periods of time. The 3.0-inch LCD screen dazzled me with its size as well as its quality. Its big size and wide viewing angles allow for quick and clear reviews of pictures taken. There was also very little delay switching between camera and playback modes.
The SX110IS has a 9 mega-pixel image sensor to take hi-def pictures. It also comes with a powerful 10x optical zoom for great close-ups. The flash can be flipped upwards or downwards to suit your lighting needs. Besides that you also have a large variety of modes to choose from. It is powered by AA batteries and also has a DIGIC III image processor that helps in accelerated face detection.
Although it's a very useful camera, some of you might find it to be on the bulkier side compared to other models. Also you cannot set the optical zoom when the movie mode is being used.
